An Intellectual Property Law Firm

Anthony G. Craig, Ph.D., J.D. brings together a unique combination of legal and scientific qualifications. By understanding the relevance of the science to the legal issues to intellectual property he can advise and implement strategies for clients to secure, protect and defend intellectual property rights in the international marketplace.

Prior to undertaking the study of law, Dr. Craig was a research scientist at The Salk Institute in La Jolla, CA where his research was aimed at understanding the structural features and mode of action of novel biologically active peptides. This work was built on his earlier research carried out at the University of Uppsala in Sweden as a guest researcher.  He continues to read and speak Swedish.  Dr. Craig has published and lectured extensively on his biomedical research at national and international scientific conferences.

After earning his law degree, Dr. Craig was an associate at a boutique law firm in San Francisco, CA where he gained significant experience counseling clients in the biotechnology industry.  Many of his clients today work for growth-oriented companies and he continues to consult for biotechnology firms.
